Hi everyone!
I hope you are going well at school this week and staying motivated. I have heard from MH that you are doing a great job learning at home with the giant talking boxes, keep up the pawsome effort!
My favourite part about isolation is having OMH at home much more. He has been taking me on some extra runs when he has a break from the room that he has been sitting in and talking on his big talking box. At the start I kept getting confused and thinking that he had some people visiting in there but then I saw them on the talking box and it all made sense.
My post today is about being grateful for your hands! I know they don't seem like much, but you humans having hands makes your lives so much easier. I'm really jealous of them. If there was one thing extra I think all dogs should get it would be opposable thumbs like you. If I had opposable thumbs, I could open doors, give you a pat back, open up my food tub whenever I wanted and also push TH away when he is getting too close or trying to climb on me! Thumbs are amazing!
As you can see from my photo, TH is already enjoying his opposable thumbs, holding on to my lead as we went for a walk yesterday. What a show off!
Well, enjoy your hands today and everything you can do with them! And, if you have a dog at home with you give them a special pat because they don't have thumbs! Leave a comment below if you can think of funny things your dog would do if they had thumbs.
Bye for now!
Love,
June xx

June you are a very smart dog. I've never thought about how much we need our thumbs and how hard life would be without them. Like big toes which help us to balance we don't think about those parts of our body that make life easier. If you had a thumb could you open your food box and pour out your dry food? That would be good. You could eat anytime but then you might get fat and that wouldn't be good for your health. There are always two sides to a story! Happy pawing down the path of life!
Lick, lick, scratch scratch!
