An unexpected friendship...

Hello TH and BH readers!

I am sorry I didn't get a post out yesterday, we had a busy day at home and MH was hogging the computer!

Today I'm going to tell you about a little friend I made recently, a totally unexpected friend! Did you know dogs and cats can actually get along? Because we can! This little girl, we call Kitty Cat, is my neighbour. Unfortunately her owner couldn't look after her anymore because she has gone into an aged care home, a bit like Rosebank. You're not allowed to keep pets in places like that so a whole team of people have been feeding her, including MH, which I was a bit jealous about sometimes!

Kitty Cat was very lonely and missed her owner so much, so sometimes she would come in and visit us. At first she didn't like me a lot but she came around once I was really gentle when I said hello. The great news is that a family around the corner have now adopted Kitty Cat so she can be happy inside with her new humans.

The other day they must have let her outside for a bit and she came down and sat at our gate to say hello again! She really likes us!
